About Me.
Hello, my name is Paul, and welcome to my portfolio site! I have a passion for multimedia design, which involves game design, graphic design, illustration, video production, animation, and programming. My vision is to design rewarding user experiences that inspire my audience.
My determination in the multimedia arts all began with a video game I picked up at the age of three. Since then, I now have spent a chunk of my life learning animation, video editing, programming, digital art, and game development in my free time. I’ve taken many classes such as Computer Science, Digital Art, Interactive Media Writing, Design & Color, Digital Storytelling, Human Computer Interaction, and a bunch more at Juniata College. These classes have taught me programming languages, industry standard tools, writing techniques, and understanding of the principles of design. I gained my design, teamwork, and communication skills through my experiences from my on-campus jobs. I made use of my technical and design skills while using the Adobe Suite in both my graphic design and video producer positions, while honing my communication skills with clients and the teams I worked with. I also held an associate position as a web designer, which put my interaction design and management skills to use as well as constant communication between designers, programmers, and managers. My game design skills come from making games in my free time and my game design internship. I spend time researching game design; learning programs such as Unity, Construct 2, and Game Maker; spending time learning programming languages such as C#, C++, and Java; and taking on personal passion projects such as my game “Po Po Panic”. I hope to work on larger games with larger teams in the future. As a creative, I provide inventive solutions to problems. I am a valuable team player who will contribute as much as I can wherever I can. I will deliver unique ideas through my creative works, and inspire others as I do so. Résumé
